It is a chemical peel made from a low concentration of the chemical tricholoacetic acid (TCA) and can improve the appearance and health of the skin. It works to remove dead skin cells and the skin's reaction to the blue base of the peel allows the surgeon to gain a good indication of individual skin requirements and personalize the amount of peels needed to achieve desired results.

Once the skin has healed from the peel it will allow new healthy skin tissues to form and create a rejuvenated and tightened appearance.

This treatment takes around 20 minutes and doesn't usually require sedation. At each level of the peel's process patients will feel a slight burning sensation for around 2–3 minutes and the doctor will often use a fan to reduce this sensation.
