Smartlipo

Smartlipo is a minimally invasive, minor laser procedure which removes areas of unwanted fat such as love handles, upper arms or double chins. Suitable for both women and men, Smartlipo has the ability to target those smaller pockets of fat which are proving more resistant to traditional methods of fat removal such as diet and exercise.

During Smartlipo, a laser is used to heat the fat cells in the area, causing them to break down. They are subsequently absorbed, and passed out of the body naturally.

Smartlipo - The Procedure

Smartlipo is a minimally invasive procedure that is carried out under local anaesthetic. During the procedure itself, a laser fibre (approximately 1mm) is inserted under the skin, and into the fat cells. There is usually little or no bruising following a Smartlipo procedure, and in most instances the individual is able to return to work the same day. The body contours of the individual will slowly improve on a daily basis, with the final results being evident after 60 - 120 days.

Costs of Smartlipo

Smartlipo is charged by the number of areas to be treated, although a single area treatment will usually cost approximately £2,000.00. Most clinics tend to offer a reduced cost if the individual is looking to have more than one area treated.
